Captain Jack's
The Story Behind Captain Jack's
From a humble food truck dream to Cassville's favorite destination for fresh fish, golden shrimp, and slow-smoked brisket burgers.
How It All Began
A family's love of cooking became Cassville's favorite spot
Michael and Nemia Goade always had a dream: to share their love of bold, fresh flavors with the community they call home. It started with Michael's passion for slow-smoked brisket and Nemia's gift for bringing people together around a table.
They took a leap of faith, starting with a food truck and a handful of family recipes that had been perfected over years of backyard cookouts and Sunday dinners. Every batch of fish was hand-breaded, every burger was pressed fresh, every sauce was made from scratch.
"What started as a food truck dream became Cassville's favorite spot for fresh fish, golden shrimp, and slow-smoked brisket burgers."
Word spread fast. The lines got longer. And Michael and Nemia knew it was time to put down roots. They opened the doors at 494 Highway 76, giving Cassville a permanent home for the kind of food that makes you feel like family.
Today, Captain Jack's is more than a restaurant. It's a gathering place, a community staple, and proof that when you cook with love, people taste the difference.
"From a single food truck and a dream, to the most talked-about restaurant in Barry County."
When you eat at Captain Jack's, you're eating food made by parents who feed it to their own kids. That's the Goade guarantee.
